Chris Chandler

Chris Chandler, MBA, MHS, has more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry, ranging from frontline clinical experience in laboratory medicine to significant operational and project development positions in both private and academic settings. He developed, launched and operated several major proton facilities as Senior Vice President of ProCure Treatment Centers, where he oversaw the development of their centers and served as President of the private enterprise’s Chicago-area practice.

Chris also developed several major proton therapy programs as Vice President and General Manager of IBA Proton Therapy.

Chris established himself in healthcare management as an HMO developer at the Blue Cross Blue Shield system in Florida, where he became skilled in healthcare finance and reimbursement. Leveraging his insurance experience, he held executive-level roles in academic medicine, operating the Department of Pathology for the School of Medicine at the University of Florida; and serving as administrator of the James Graham Brown Cancer Center at the University of Louisville, where he guided a multidisciplinary academic cancer program.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology, Master of Science and Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration from the University of Florida.
