Pete Carbone

Senior VP of Facility Development

Pete Carbone has more than 25 years of experience in the real estate development, design and construction fields. He is responsible for a range of development initiatives at Proton International including facility development, construction and design. Prior to joining Proton International in 2013, Pete spent 18 years in the design and development departments of several hospitals and healthcare systems in South Florida and led the facility development at ProCure Treatment Centers, helping to bring proton therapy to four major cities in the U.S. He has collectively managed more than $2.5 billion in total projects. He also worked as a Construction and Maintenance Engineer for a major oil company for six years and served five years active duty in the United States Air Force as a Construction Engineer. Pete is a registered General Contractor, Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) and a Certified LEED Green Associate. He received a Mechanical Engineering degree from Norwich University and a Masters of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University.
